There have always been many definitions of acting / many approaches to the teaching of acting and there always will be. But there are certain things any actor must pay attention to, things that are taught in schools of acting all over the world. The most basic acting curriculum will always consist of training in: body awareness, relaxation, voice and speech, movement, the sharpening of emotions and their expression, the interpretation of texts. But why should these areas of training be the exclusive province of actors alone? Anyone’s life can be enriched by an introduction to the basic elements of actor training. And this is what this course offers.

The course will have a broad appeal. Are you a leader? Do you want to improve certain of your leadership skills? Are you in a job that involves communicating? Could your communication skills be better? Do you have to give speeches sometimes? Does the very thought of speaking in public leave you cold? Are you an amateur actor? Would you like to learn some new techniques? On this course we're using yoga and acting as two disciplines complementing each other. Yoga will play a big part in to open your body and start and/ or your awareness of your body during the week.
