Blue Voyage Holiday Datça About Us Getting Here Contact Us Useful Links

Most nationalities need a visa to enter Turkey, which for EU citizens pay 10 Euros, and British citizens £10, on arrival.

As at 2008 you will get about 2.35 YTL (New Turkish Lira) to the pound, and food and drinks are still much cheaper than in Britain, though you should not need much money as most meals are included.

Turkey is 2 hours ahead of the UK, and the clocks change at the same time.

Flights

There are now flights to Dalaman all year around from various UK airports including Gatwick, Stanstead, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Newcastle. Return tickets from £150.

You could also fly to Rhodes in Greece, or Bodrum and get the daily ferry to Datça or Kormen (2 hours in both cases), though this might involve an overnight stay. Out of the charter season there are scheduled flights from London to Dalaman, via Istanbul, with Turkish Airlines, and direct flights with KTHY. Ask us if you need more information.

Transfers
Once almost inaccessible from the mainland, even with a new road, Datça is still 2hrs (very scenic) drive from Dalaman.

Taxis are about £80 one way, and buses sporadic. With advance notice we arrange transfers to meet your flight, and try to share the cost with other arrivals.
